After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast – full English for most – we took the coach to Ashbury and proceeded to walk to the ancient burial tomb at Wayland Smithy. We had a few light squally showers but managed to have lunch under an enormous great tree and we wrapped up carefully today to face the elements! Next up Uffington Castle and the White Horse…
